Terms of Service

1. Who we are

SD Biom is provided by SD Studios – Design & Digital Ltd (“SD Studios”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 10577937. These terms govern your use of the SD Biom application (the “Service”).

2. Your account

Accounts are provisioned by SD Studios once a client relationship is agreed; there is no public self-service signup. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for anyone you invite as a member of your Biom(s). You must be authorised to act for the brand(s) you manage in the Service.

3. Your content

Everything you upload or create in a Biom, including guidelines, assets, tone-of-voice content, and anything generated through The Studio, remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it. You grant SD Studios only the limited right to store, process, and display it back to you and the members/collaborators you explicitly grant access to (including anyone who opens a share link you create), solely in order to operate the Service.

4. Our intellectual property

The SD Biom name, its branding, and the features and functionality of the Service are the property of SD Studios – Design & Digital Ltd (company number 10577937). Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

5. AI-assisted features

Auto-tagging, colour/logo compliance checks, and similar features are heuristic tools intended to speed up review, not authoritative judgments. Every suggestion shows its own confidence and rationale, and nothing is changed automatically without your explicit confirmation. You're responsible for the final call on what's actually on-brand.

6. Feedback and fixes

If you report a bug or send us feedback on the Service's features and functionality, we'll acknowledge it within 72 hours. No fix is guaranteed within that timeframe, but we listen to every report, prioritise it, and endeavour to fix genuine issues at the earliest opportunity.

7. Fees and billing

Pricing is agreed directly with SD Studios and invoiced outside the app; there is no in-app payment collection today. Continued access to a Biom is conditional on that agreement being kept up to date; SD Studios will give reasonable notice before suspending access for non-payment.

8. Early Bloom pricing and The Studio watermark

Assets you create through The Studio carry a small “Engineered in SD Biom” watermark. Signing up under Early Bloom pricing means agreeing to keep this watermark in place: it's part of how the discounted early rate is offered, and helps other brands discover the Service.

9. Sharing outside your team

Share links you create (optionally password-protected, with an expiry) let people outside your Biom view specific guidelines or assets without an account. You are responsible for who you share a link with and for revoking it when it's no longer needed.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and your data intact, but SD Biom is provided “as is” without guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We'll do our best to give notice of planned downtime.

SD Biom is currently in an early trial phase. We take real care to prevent data loss (see the Trash/restore and guideline version history features), and we don't intend for anything to go wrong. But while the Service is in trial, we cannot guarantee against every possible fault, and SD Studios is not liable for any lost assets or work as a result.

11. Ending the relationship

Either party may end the arrangement per the terms agreed at signup. On request, we'll provide an export of your guidelines and assets before deletion, within a reasonable timeframe.
