SD Biom

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Who controls your data

SD Studios – Design & Digital Ltd (company number 10577937) is the data controller for personal data processed through SD Biom.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address, and a hashed (never plain-text) password.
  • Brand content: whatever you upload or write into a Biom, including guidelines, typography, colours, tone of voice, and asset files.
  • Activity within a Biom: an audit trail of who changed what and when, visible to other members of that Biom.
  • Share-link activity: when a link you create is viewed, and any comment a visitor leaves (a name they type themselves, not a verified identity). We do not record an IP address or any other identifying detail about who opened a link.
  • Feedback you submit through the in-app feedback widget.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell your data, run third-party advertising trackers, or use analytics tools that share data outside SD Studios. The only cross-Biom aggregate reporting is a first-party usage dashboard SD Studios uses to understand product usage; it never surfaces the content of what any specific Biom stores.

4. Who else touches your data

Data is stored in a database SD Studios operates. No payment processor is involved, since billing is arranged directly and invoiced outside the app.

5. How long we keep it

Your content stays for as long as your account/Biom is active. Deleted assets move to a Trash you (or an Admin on your Biom) can restore from before they're permanently removed. On account closure, we'll offer an export first, then delete your data within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within one calendar month, as UK GDPR requires (extendable by a further two months for a complex request, in which case we'll explain why).
